Studies and Sketches

I particularly enjoy and value making quick sketches and studies in various media, whether it be pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor or any combination thereof. The knowledge that “it’s just a sketch” allows me the phsycological freedom to be uninhibited. In retrospect however, as I see it, many of these exercises have a unique harmony and appeal in their own right.
